Half Term Family days out in the North West

The half-term holidays are nearly here so if you’re a parent looking for inspiration to keep the little ones engaged for a whole week, here are a few suggestions.

Build your own story at Lyme Park

Lyme Park in the Cheshire countryside is a magical place to visit. It has miles of wonderful walks through parklands and woods – perfect for a winter wander! But we all know the great British weather can be on the wet side sometimes so why not pop into the Entrance Hall in Lyme House and pick up a free family activity pack? It’s got lots of great ideas that could take your kids on an adventure through Lyme Park’s history hidden in the tapestries and paintings. The Build Your Own Story event tantalises their imaginations and helps them to build their own story using the characters from the past as a starting point.
